Experimentally investigates the dragreducing and heat transfer performances of cetyltrimethyl ammonium chloride (CTAC) surfactant solution with different concentrations and mixture ratios under different conditions in a twodimensional channel. The results indicate that the heat transfer reduction rate of the CTAC dragreducing fluid increases with Reynolds number when Reynolds number is below the critical value and decreases rapidly when Reynolds number exceeds the critical value, the trends of heat transfer reduction rate and drag reduction rate are similar, and the temperature gradient of the CTAC dragreducing fluid is larger than that of water in buffer layer and smaller than that of water in turbulent core area.
